State Enterprises Consortium signed off Banten LNG Receiving Terminal Project Development
Three Indonesia state-run enterprises (BUMN) agreed to develop USD 650 million LNG receiving terminal in Banten.
The management representatives of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), PT Pertamina and PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) had sign off the memorandum of understanding last week.
Rudiantara Vice President Director PT PLN said 3 BUMN agreed to develop the receiving terminal (RT) to fulfil domestic need and the leader for the consortium is PGN. Then PLN would be an off taker for the RT cause over 50% of the terminal total capacity will be absorp by PLN, so We have an interest to guarantee the gas supply for plant fuel.
Sutikno President Director PGN explain the consortium cooperation will cover LNG RT development and operation and the gas supply would come from local producer.
